Biography

His Excellency Mohamed Dayri received his Bachelor of Law in 1976 and a Masters in Law in 1978 from the French Grenoble University. Mr. Dayri represented the League of Arab States in many international forums from 1980 to 1992, then he was chosen to work for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) since 1992 until 2010. He successfully managed the humanitarian crisis of refugees and displaced persons in many countries, particularly Arab countries in a bid to ease the humanitarian crisis on them, including Syria, Palestine, Sudan and Iraq. He was assigned by the High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) as of February 2010 to be an ambassador and regional representative to Egypt and the Arab League and the Palestinian Authority, until he was appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation since September 2014.
